After Modern Times is a 24 FPS timer, of which length refers to the non-image parts between film frames of Charlie Chaplin’s Modern Times (1936).

In an increasingly digital world, the boundary between personal and public space is blurring, and the once considered flaw “absence” becomes a few spaces left where one can flee from the control of technology. The work represents the lack of output, reaffirming a place for human through rejecting data-sharing and wasting time.
