作品延續陳對空間權力的關注,反思該權力在展場的運作,從作者對藝術參與設限,到對作品所有權的自然伸張(如曾經的參與者消失,僅留下眾多被納入「展覽現場」的痕跡)。其形式「回收」我的檔案,並重申藝術的互動特質:ASCII 是最通用的電腦藝術形式,適用於可顯示多行文字的電腦系統,且檔案極小方便運行、傳輸、儲存。

The work continues Chen’s focus on power in spaces, reflecting on how this power operates within exhibition, whether it is the authors’ restrictions on the ways of participation or their natural assertion of ownership of the work (as participators disappear, leaving only numerous traces attributed to the “installation view”). Its form “reclaims” my archive and reiterates the interactive nature of art: ASCII is the most universal computer art form for every computer system capable of displaying multi-line text can display, and the file size is extremely small for easy operation, transmission, and storage.
