A pseudo-Visa card featured the “Warrior on a Horse” statue* in Skopje.
Due to the dispute with Greece, this statue reminiscent of Alexander the Great is called as such. The work explores the power behind name—Visa is a name that sounds the same in all languages while Warrior on a Horse is a name for what cannot be named—and the implicit tension between nationalism and capitalism, as in budget allocation or in the pursuit of exclusivity and universality. Its title echoes the sentimentalism shared by monument, Macedonia, Taiwan.
It was shown in National Gallery of Macedonia (Skopje, North Macedonia), right facing the statue across the river.
