A zine of buildings in Taiwan with “Vienna” in their names displayed in Vienna, Austria.
To render a high-end and world-class style, Taiwanese builders name their architectures with different cities like Tokyo, Paris, New York, Berlin...and of course, Vienna. The work pokes fun at the concept of the pursuit of the exotic in Taiwan, parodying how we see ourselves through the eyes of others and how city appears different in people’s minds.
