Sound; 1 hour
Ukrainian anthem slowed to one hour and played on a loop in public bomb shelter of Israel.

The deceleration highlights the required patience, perseverance and determination to never give up before “fate shall smile” as mentioned in the lyrics. The title refers to both “music written to be sung by group of singers” and “part of a song written to be repeated several times,” emphasizing the spirit of unity and resilience.

Inspired by Bethan Huws’ Singing for the Sea (1993), the work continues her approach of displacement, taking location as an integral, ready-made component: here, the interpretation of this work and its location reflects the viewer’s attitude towards both countries.

 With the support of Multika
Multika is a collective of artists founded in Haifa. Since their first independent event in 2017, held in an abandoned alley, they have collaborated with municipalities, cultural organizations, and nightlife venues, alongside further independent productions. Their mission is to create a platform for free artistic expression and is open to all those interested in research and contribution.
